— The Proposition

A career platform for Indians who want to switch domains — built for pivoters, not CVs. No “years of experience” filter. No recruiter spam. Just stories, proof-of-work, and the curator's eye.

What this is

Pivotly is a narrow, slow, taste-led community for mid-career Indians making deliberate cross-domain career switches — from services IT to product, from banking to fintech, from teaching to EdTech, from the corporate world to the creator economy. We match on slope, not Y-intercept.

The Process — No Résumé Required

How Pivotly works

  1. I.

    Write your pivot story

Three paragraphs: where you are now, where you want to go, why you're credible for the jump. No “responsible for” bullet points. No titles. A pivot story, read once, should stick.

  2. II.

    Upload three pieces of proof-of-work

A Notion doc. A Loom walkthrough. A case study. A side-project. A YouTube video. We treat proof-of-work as the résumé — your actual thinking, on the actual subject you want to be hired for.

  3. III.

    Join a pivot corridor

One corridor, not ten. Join the community, show up to the weekly story, join a four-person peer squad committing to a 90-day pivot. Density beats scale.

  4. IV.

    Get into the monthly drop

Every month, 20–30 pivot-ready candidates go out to 10–15 hand-picked hirers. A curator intro — not a cold application. Hirers include creators, solo founders, startups, non-profits. Response rate: 4× LinkedIn InMail.

Product Principles · Non-negotiable

We will never be a job board.
We will never filter by years of experience.
We will never accept recruiter dashboards.
We are a narrow community with taste.
